Boketto is shared between a maximum of four artists, each with their own private bedroom and the house and landscape to move through together.

Come with up to three creative friends, or come alone. For solo applications, we’ll thoughtfully bring together a small group of residents for the same stay.

Your days are entirely your own.

Work at the long table.
Read in the morning sun.
Walk to the sea.
Make coffee.
Take something outside.
Do absolutely nothing for a while.

There is nowhere you need to be.

Queen Room · $500

Three nights in your own private Queen bedroom, with shared bathroom.

Super King Suite · $650

Three nights in the Super King master suite, with private ensuite, double shower and bath.

Rates are for the full Monday–Thursday residency and include linen, bath towels and departure cleaning.

This is a supported artist rate offered only for selected Boketto residency dates.

Meals, transport and creative materials are not included.

The residency is completely self-directed. There are no workshops, scheduled activities or required outcomes.

Artists, writers, photographers, designers, makers and curious creative people at any stage of their practice.

You don't need to arrive with a project.

You don't need to leave with one either.

Boketto is a home rather than a traditional working studio, so the residency is best suited to low-impact creative practices. If your work involves paints, dyes, solvents, clay, large equipment or other materials that may affect the house, simply let us know when applying.

You’re welcome to gather up to three other creative friends and apply together.

Or come on your own.

For individual applications, we’ll bring together a small group of residents sharing the same dates, with no more than four people in the house.

Sometimes the best thing is simply working quietly alongside other people who understand the need to make things.
